At Oakwood the focus of worship is to give glory to God and to prepare hearts, minds and souls to receive God's Word. This is done by combining music, prayer, and fellowship, as well as responsive reading and drama on occasion. The worship service style is contemporary at both services. The music set typically includes a mix of modern praise songs and traditional hymns, which are often blended with a contemporary approach.
