| Ministry Opportunities for Fall 2008 |

As Oakwood adds a second service and kicks off a new ministry season this fall, additional volunteers are needed in many of the ministry areas. We hope you will find a way to serve that both glorifies God and blesses you as you serve. To volunteer, please contact the church office at 952/442-4323 or e-mail office@oakwoodonline.org. Here are the specific opportunities to consider:
Ministry Opportunities
greeters: greet those who come to worship; serve once a month
power point technician: coordinate and run worship PowerPoint once a month
set-up/take-down crew: assist with the set-up and/or take-down on a monthly basis
small group leaders: facilitate Bible study and discussion; training provided
sound technician: operate the sound board during worship services once a month
ushers: assist with seating and the collection of the offering once a month
vocalists and musicians: be a part of the worship team once or twice a month; rehearsal on Tuesday nights and Sunday mornings
Children's Programs Opportunities
playgroup coordinator: schedule and arrange monthly playgroups for families with preschoolers
special event coordinator: coordinate monthly events for 5th & 6th graders
nursery and toddler staff: care for toddlers, ages 2-4, at 9 a.m.
