Children’s Ministry Director Update
Bob and Kate Hutchinson have been serving as co-directors of Oakwood’s Children’s Ministry since the fall of 2007. As the Hutchinsons prepare to grow their family through adoption, Kate will be stepping down from her position as co-director of Children’s Ministry. Bob Hutchinson will remain on the staff of Oakwood church as the Children’s Ministry Director.
Kate and I have been blessed to have served together as Children’s Ministry directors at Oakwood for the past year. The children of Oakwood church are precious and it brings us such joy to see them grow in the knowledge of the Lord. Kate looks forward to supporting me in my role and we hope and pray that this will be a fulfilling year of spiritual growth, maturing, and service within children’s ministry. Thank you for the privilege of serving the families and children of Oakwood church.

Children's Ministry Director is Bob Hutchinson. Bob and his wife Kate, have been at Oakwood since 2001 and have three children. Bob will graduate from Crown College in 2008. Bob's desire and passion is that God would raise up the next generation to come to treasure Jesus Christ above all else (Col. 1:15-20), and that people of all ages would be equipped to fervently live out the Great Commission so that all the nations and tribes and people would sing of the worthiness of Christ (Rev. 5:9-10). Acts 20:24 says, "I do not count my life any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the Gospel of the grace of God."
